OUR FEES

Our work is based on agreed/fixed fees.  We value customer confidence and believe that they should know in advance the extent of fees and the scope of work covered by the fees they pay for our legal services.

Clarity and transparency are very important and there are no hourly rates or hidden charges.

We take time to understand your needs and to provide tailor made solutions which represent best value for money.

Before we commence work on your matter we mutually agree upon fees.   At the outset we explain the extent of work necessary, scope of work covered by the agreed fees and the timeframe for the work to be completed.  Fees are based on issues involved, complexities, expertise and experience.

Our quote will assume that you will provide us with the necessary information/documents in a timely manner to deliver the work undertaken within the agreed timeframe.  In the event you are unable to provide necessary information and documents as agreed, it may change the scope of work and the timeframe.  On such occasions, we notify you in advance and charge additional fees for the additional work in agreement with you.   Day to day running costs such as phone calls, photocopying and postage are included within the agreed fees.

Disbursements

Our legal fees do not include disbursements such as Home Office application fees and charges for document scanning at biometric appointments, Immigration Health Surcharge, Tribunal or Court fees, barrister’s fees, independent expert fees, translation/interpretation fees and out of London travel costs or any other disbursement. Where such costs arise, we notify you in advance and you will be responsible for those, so that you always know exactly what is being paid and to whom.

VAT

Our fees quoted below are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at 20% where this is required by law. For example, VAT is applicable where you are in the UK and have, or previously had, leave to remain. If you normally reside outside the UK then VAT does not apply. There will be VAT on disbursements at the same rate in relation to services provided by barristers, experts and other service providers who are obliged to charge VAT on their fees.
